1899 50C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. Deep Cameo examples of the proof 1899 Barber half dollar are rare. NGC lists only two such pieces, neither of which grades numerically as fine as the present Superb Gem PCGS coin. This CAC-endorsed Registry coin ranks within the Condition Census of Deep Cameo examples. The strike is fully rendered on the obverse and on the reverse is lacking only on the upper-right shield corner. This piece is devoid of toning and showcases dramatic field-device contrast. Population: 6 in 67 (1 in 67+) Deep Cameo, 1 finer (11/16).
