1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9, Close Date, B-27, BB-113, R.2, AU53 NGC. Bowers Die State II, early, with the obverse perfect and a delicate die crack from above the final S to the tops of OF and the right facing wing tip, continuing to the border over the first A in AMERICA. This lovely dollar has rich golden-brown toning on both sides with much underlying luster.
