1802/1 $1 Narrow Date, B-4, BB-232, R.3, XF45 NGC. Bowers Die State II. Predominantly cream-gray surfaces display glimpses of peach-gold and powder-blue at the margins. Liberty's curls show moderate wear but luster shimmers from design recesses. The coin is void of any consequential marks, although a few tiny marks join some light surface porosity visible with a lens. Still, this is a Choice and desirable example of the overdate for a midgrade collection.
