Seated Dollars
1841 $1 MS60 PCGS. CAC. OC-3. Osburn-Cushing Die State c/c. Struck from a first-time use of the obverse die and from a transitional reverse die from 1840. This example shows prooflike surface at the margins amid thick, original brown and tan toning interspersed with golden mint luster. Sharply struck, with slight loss of definition on Liberty's hair but bold feather details on the eagle. The sole CAC endorsed coin at the MS60 level from either service. CAC: 1 in 60, 23 finer (11/16).
