Seated Dollars
1862 $1 MS62+ PCGS. A better date in circulated grades and scarce in Mint State, the 1862 Seated dollar represents one of more challenging No Motto acquisitions in the series regardless of one's scope for the grades in their collection. This Plus-designated MS62 coin offers a sharp strike and softly frosted mint luster. Both sides display lavender-gray and pale golden toning. Grade-limiting abrasions are light and scattered. Population: 18 in 62 (2 in 62+), 35 finer (11/16).
