Proof Seated Dollars
1867 $1 PR63 Cameo PCGS. The 1867 is one of the more frequently seen proof Seated dollars, but only 600 proofs were struck. A relatively large percentage of surviving proofs show cameo contrast, making this date very popular with type collectors. This piece has remarkably bright, mirrored fields and the center of each side is almost brilliant while the margins show russet-brown patina. Fully defined in all areas. Population: 13 in 63 Cameo, 26 finer (11/16).
