1868 $1 PR64 NGC. OC-P2. The 1 and the second 8 in the date are repunched. An iridescently toned Choice specimen. The borders are ocean-blue, and the reverse field is apricot-gold. Well struck and undisturbed with exceptional eye appeal. Only 600 proofs were issued, and the mintage was shared with OC-P1, which shows a misplaced date on the obverse rim.
