1876-S T$1 Type One Obverse, Type One Reverse, MS64+ PCGS. Large S. Lightly dappled chestnut-gold, plum-mauve, and aquamarine toning graces the obverse. The reverse is brilliant aside from peripheral butter-gold patina. A lustrous, Choice type coin with a nice strike and no more than the expected number of wispy field grazes. The eye appeal alone is worthy of the PCGS Plus designation. Population: Few pieces are finer. 3 in 64+, 7 finer (11/16).
