1876-S T$1 Type One Obverse, Type Two Reverse, MS64 NGC. CAC. Minute S. The end of the scroll points left on the obverse, while on the reverse there is no berry under the eagle's claw. Lustrous surfaces exhibit light, creamy-gold toning. Well struck, save for the usual softness on the upper obverse and on the eagle's left (facing) leg and wing. A few light peripheral cracks are visible, but this is a frosty, nicely preserved coin. NGC has seen 22 numerically finer examples (11/16).
