Extraordinary multicolor toning blankets both sides of this amazing MS68 example, an interesting juxtaposition vibrant rainbow shades versus earthy colors except where areas of silver luster intervene. There are no numerically finer Superb Gem quarters at either service for comparison, although the standout coloration of this Washington quarter is clearly beyond compare. Census: 4 in 68 (1 in 68★), 0 finer (11/16).
