1957-D 25C MS68 NGC. A smooth and sharp Superb Gem, with a circular band of rainbow colors that cedes to blaze-orange and lemon-gold shades around a satiny silver portrait on the obverse. The reverse is an array of vivid coloration ranging from bright orange to and baby-blue to lime-green, lemon-yellow, and fuscia-pink at the center. PCGS has yet to certify an MS68 example of the 1957-D, while NGC reports just two pieces at this high grade. Census: 2 in 68, 0 finer (11/16).
