1939 25C PR68 NGC. A fantastically well-preserved example of this early proof Washington quarter issue, one of just 8,795 specimens struck. Delicate gold-green and silver-white shadings allow the full reflectivity of the gleaming fields to pass through. One of 21 PR68 pieces graded by NGC, with none numerically finer (11/16).
