Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1916-D/D 50C FS-501 MS65 PCGS. Undesignated on the old green label holder, this sharply struck and frosty Gem Walker displays a boldly repunched mintmark that prompted Cherrypickers' to comment, "This dramatic RPM has yet to yield many specimens." The secondary D is sharply evident southwest of the primary D. Vibrant orange-and-blue toning at the top of the obverse complements similar shades that appear briefly near the reverse rim. Nearly full thumb separation exists on the branch hand of this lustrous and appealing half dollar.
