1916-S 50C MS64 NGC. Scarcest of the three 1916 Walking Liberty issues, this San Francisco half dollar displays the characteristic finely grained surfaces, flat rims, and attractive satiny luster that appeal to collectors. Pleasing pale-blue and olive-gold toning ventures in from the borders toward the silver centers, with occasional rose highlights. The strike is sharp for the issue, with satisfactory head and thumb details. Marks are nearly nonexistent on both sides of this Choice near-Gem half.
