Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1917-D 50C Reverse MS64 PCGS. An attractive glow of golden mint luster resides beneath an overall speckling of slate-gray toning, a sure sign of originality for this richly patinated Walker. A few light marks are noted, yet the surfaces are exceptionally Choice and well-struck save for trivial weakness through the centers. The Reverse Mintmark variant is elusive at the MS64 level and very scarce any finer. PCGS reports only 55 numerically finer certifications (11/16).
