With a reported mintage of nearly 1.8 million pieces, the 1933-S Walking Liberty half dollar is not too difficult to locate in most Mint State grades, but the issue is a condition rarity above MS66. This MS67 coin is among the finest known. The design elements are sharply detailed throughout, and the impeccably preserved surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster under attractive shades of champagne-gold, aquamarine, and violet toning.
