1941-S 50C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Bits of iridescent rainbow toning at the rims confirm the natural surfaces of this otherwise brilliant, satin-white 1941-S. One of the "strike rarities" of the late-date series, the San Francisco issue seldom exceeds 60% strike on the head or hand, and the eagle's leg is normally without much feather definition. This high-end Premium Gem exceeds those limits, with a few small marks but excellent eye appeal. PCGS reports just nine numerically finer examples.
