1942 50C PR68 PCGS. A mintage of 21,120 proof Walking Liberty half dollars was accomplished in 1942, before production of proof coins was suspended due to the extra demands of the wartime economy. This magnificent PR68 specimen exhibits sharply detailed design elements and deeply reflective fields, with impeccably preserved surfaces and a few hints of greenish-gold and magenta toning.
