Proof Franklin Half Dollars
1950 50C PR67 NGC. After an eight-year slumber, proof half dollar production resumed in 1950, this time with the Franklin design. Mintages were low at 51,386 pieces, relative to the much higher proof coinages by the end of the series. This is a lustrous, brilliant, and immaculate Superb Gem. Certified in a prior generation holder.
