Kennedy Half Dollars
1967 50C MS67 PCGS. Although the 1965-67 Special Mint Set Kennedy halves are quite common in MS67 (or SP67, as PCGS has begun recently certifying them), the business strike 1965-67 Kennedys are quite uncommon so fine. This colorfully toned, pristine example is mounted reverse-side-up in the PCGS holder to display its admirable qualities, but the obverse is just about as nice. The reverse shows gold, sunset-orange, and soft jade hues with complete mint luster, while the obverse offers a similar palette. We note than even some of the top Registry Sets at PCGS show MS66 grades for the 1965-67 business strikes. This coin should see spirited bidding from series fans. Population: 21 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (11/16).
