Peach-gold, blue-green, and dove-gray toning drapes this lustrous and sharply struck Premium Gem. As of (11/16), PCGS and NGC have certified a total of 390 1878 dollars as VAM-14.1, with none above MS65. The present piece would rank as the single finest of the variety at either leading service, had it been submitted as VAM-14.1.
