1878 7/8TF $1 7/4 Weak, VAM-41A, MS64 Deep Prooflike NGC. The 7/4 Tailfeathers VAM-41A is a later, lapped die state of the VAM-41, a 7/7 Tailfeathers variety. This Deep Prooflike representative must have been one of the earliest VAM-41A examples struck, given its exceptional field reflectivity. The nearly brilliant surfaces are well struck and inoffensively marked.
