1878 7/8TF $1 7/4 Weak, VAM-41A, MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. VAMWorld.com writes: "VAM-41A is the repolished VAM-41 and exists in prooflike condition due to that." Four tail ends appear under the primary tailfeathers, and no die lines are present under Liberty's chin. A gouge left of the wreath bow helps identify the variety. Each side is wholly brilliant with deeply reflective fields and frosted motifs. This Gem first-year dollar is strongly defined, and the sole mark of note appears below the olive branch.
