1879-O $1 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. This second-year example represents the first Morgan dollar issue from the New Orleans Mint, which had been out of commission since the beginning of the Civil War. The strike is remarkably strong for an O-mint product, and each side is wholly brilliant with coruscating luster. Excellent eye appeal. Very rare any finer.
