1885-CC $1 MS66 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. VAM-3. Visually impressive, this Premium Gem Deep Mirror Prooflike coin shows only a few faint field abrasions with a deeply frosted, clean cheek on Liberty. The coin displays a hint of gold patina on the rims, but is essentially brilliant with dramatic silver flash and strong cameo contrast throughout both sides. The strike is pinpoint sharp. Variety collectors will note the die scratches in front of Liberty's eye and a left-leaning mintmark, diagnostic of the VAM-3 die pair. Population: 49 in 66 (5 in 66+) Deep Mirror Prooflike, 2 finer (10/16).
