1889 $1 MS66+ PCGS. Dappled blue, violet, green, and copper-orange patina colors the entire obverse. Similar hues appear peripherally at the upper reverse, but that side is almost entirely brilliant. Strike detail matches the high degree of eye appeal and tremendous technical quality. Only four finer coins are reported at PCGS (12/16).
