1890-CC $1 MS64 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. The 1890-CC dollar comes from a mintage of more than 2 million pieces. Mint State coins are somewhat scarce, especially in grades of MS63 and better. The present near-Gem Deep Mirror Prooflike example exhibits speckles of milky color, and sharply defined motifs that offer excellent contrast with deeply mirrored fields. A scattering of minute marks defines the grade. PCGS reports just 28 numerically finer coins in Deep Mirror Prooflike (11/16).
