1891 $1 MS65 PCGS. Well-preserved, frosty surfaces offer a vibrant cartwheel effect on this Gem 1891 Morgan dollar. The obverse displays a warm golden interior surrounded by violet and ocean-blue peripheral toning. The reverse shows a nearly brilliant interior with hints of russet and olive around the outer border. Slight strike weakness occurs on the high points of the design, as is typical of the issue. PCGS records three numerically finer representatives (10/16).
