1891-S $1 MS66+ PCGS. The 1891-S is a slightly better Morgan dollar issue in Premium Gem condition, and Superb Gems are rare. This Plus-designated MS66 coin shows a virtually flawless cheek on Liberty and vibrant, frosty mint-fresh luster. A tiny obverse graze near star 5 and another on the reverse below the U in UNITED are the only stoppers to an even finer grade. This piece is sharply struck and displays splashes of sun-orange and bluish toning. Population: 13 in 66+, 8 finer (11/16).
