Morgan Dollars
1892-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. The 1892-CC Morgan dollar is always in demand because of its charismatic CC mintmark. The 1892-CC claims a large mintage for a Carson City issue, at more than 1.3 million dollars. Part of this production total was held in government storage at the time of issue, but most of the coins were paid out over the years. By the time of the GSA sales of the 1970s, the government stockpile was exhausted. This sharply detailed Choice specimen exhibits well-preserved, vividly toned surfaces, with vibrant mint luster underneath.
