1892-CC $1 MS64+ PCGS. From a mintage of 1.3 million pieces, the availability of the 1892-CC Morgan dollar increased somewhat in the 1970s, when a number of specimens turned up in the Redfield Hoard. This Plus-graded Choice specimen offers well-preserved brilliant surfaces with vibrant mint luster throughout. Sharply detailed in most areas, a touch of softness shows on the hair above the ear and the ear itself, the result of some diagonal striations that were not completely eradicated during striking.
