Morgan Dollars
1892-CC $1 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Most Mint State 1892-CC dollars trace back to undistributed bags that were stored at the San Francisco Mint until the mid-1940s through the mid-1950s. Others were recovered from the Redfield hoard. Either situation was conducive to bagmarks and abrasions, yet this brilliant and semiprooflike coin somehow avoided such a fate. Marks are limited to a few high point grazes on the portrait and eagle plus some very light chatter on the obverse fields. The strike shows just a bit of softness above the ear and at the talons. CAC endorsed with the PCGS Plus designation.
