Morgan Dollars
1892-O $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1892-O appears frequently at auction in MS64 and to a lesser extent in MS65. Gems, however, always generate plenty of interest given the extreme rarity of higher-graded examples. According to our Permanent Auction Archives, the only finer coin sold publicly in the past five years was a Superb Gem that realized $111,625 in 2014. This brightly lustrous, wholly brilliant dollar is well-detailed for a New Orleans coin. The fields are exceptionally preserved. PCGS reports six finer submissions (10/16).
