Morgan Dollars
1892-S $1 AU58 NGC. As one can easily see by looking at the price table in the new 2017 Guide Book, the 1892-S becomes significantly more expensive when one passes into the AU grade range. Perhaps needless to say, Mint State survivors are even rarer. This just-miss AU58 representative retains ample evidence of original luster. The richly toned features are also possessed of overall bold definition, although we do note a little light rub atop the central highpoints. Colorful sunset-red color dominates each side with sea-green highlights surrounding the obverse border. A few minor abrasions are noted in the fields.
