1893-S $1 -- Obverse Scratched -- NGC Details. VF. VAM-1. A thin diagonal mark rests on the lower right obverse field. The "scratch" would be acceptable to many if not most collectors of the popular silver dollar series, although it is the reason for the NGC designation. Otherwise, the coin is minimally abraded for the VF level. Freckles of golden-brown and forest-green toning visit the obverse periphery. The rarest commercial issue of the Morgan dollar series.
