1894 $1 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. Unc. Among business issues, only the 1893-S has a lower mintage than the key 1894 silver dollar. This example is brilliant except for autumn-gold toning across the right-side margins. The surfaces display cartwheel sheen but are somewhat bright from a wipe. Marks are minor overall, though the portrait shows minor ticks and the field near the eagle's beak shows a small cluster of thin lines.
