1895-O $1 AU58 PCGS. CAC. Two factors contribute to the popularity of and demand for the 1895-O. The issue enjoys a low mintage of 450,000 coins, and survivors are under constant date pressure because of the lack of P-mint circulation strikes. The 1895-O is more accessible than the 1895-S in lower grades, but it becomes a major rarity in Mint State. This nearly Uncirculated representative remains largely brilliant, save for pale traces of gold and lavender patina. Detail over the centers is good. A lovely, original example with minor marks.
