Morgan Dollars
1895-S $1 MS62 NGC. CAC. Although the mintage of 400,000 pieces makes the 1895-S scarce in its own right, this San Francisco issue is the most readily available Morgan dollar dated 1895 from any of the three Mints. The present coin is lustrous with brilliant silver surfaces and a scattering of golden-gray toning. The strike is sharp except for a few strands over the ear. As always, bagmarks exist on the semireflective fields and frosted portrait, although fewer than expected for the MS62 grade. CAC endorsed.
