1898-S $1 MS66 PCGS. From a mintage of 4.1 million pieces, the 1898-S Morgan dollar is very scarce at the MS66 grade level, and finer examples are virtually unobtainable. This delightful Premium Gem exhibits razor-sharp definition on all design elements and vibrant mint luster radiates both sides. The surfaces are free of mentionable distractions and eye appeal is tremendous. PCGS has graded three numerically finer examples (11/16).
