1898-S $1 MS66+ PCGS. An amazing Premium Gem with satiny, nearly reflective, surfaces. The strike is bold, providing full design motifs, although the hair immediately above Liberty's ear is slightly weak, as always. Like many Morgan dollars, this is a condition rarity in higher grades, as evidenced by the population numbers. Population: 95 in 66 (10 in 66+), 3 finer (11/16).
