1901 $1 MS60 PCGS. The 1901 Morgan dollar is well-known as being one of the most elusive dates in the series in Mint State condition, and is actively sought in all such grade levels. This example exhibits numerous scattered abrasions, as the grade suggests, though the luster is especially vibrant. Shallow lines and light abrasions are primarily present at Liberty's chin and the adjacent left field. Traces of golden toning around the peripheries are the only hint of color on this coin.
