Proof Morgan Dollars
1882 $1 PR64 Cameo PCGS. Only 1,100 proof Morgans were struck in 1882, with much of the mintage subsequently spent or lost. Fully struck, as expected for a proof Morgan from this era. The devices exhibit moderate contrast, and the fields are deeply reflective with only a few wispy hairlines. The light gray-tan and lilac patina is accented with mottled milky tones on each side. Population: 36 in 64 (1 in 64+) Cameo, 41 finer (10/16).
