Frosty, largely unabraded luster engulfs the champagne-tinted surfaces of this Gem High Relief Peace dollar, yielding russet in irregular amounts around the peripheries and against the edges of the obverse portrait. The central high points show the usual weakness of strike, which prompted the reduced relief design change of the following year.
