1922-D $1 MS66+ PCGS. The 1922-D Peace dollar boasts a much smaller high-grade population than its mintage of more than 15 million coins would suggest. The date is infrequently available in MS66, and Superb Gems are rare and far out of reach for most collectors. This Plus-graded Premium Gem balances the two categories, showing a sharp strike and frosty, untoned mint luster. No bothersome abrasions are present. PCGS lists only three finer representatives (10/16).
