Lincoln Cents
1910-S 1C MS67 Red PCGS. Early San Francisco issues are some of the most difficult dates in the Lincoln cent series to acquire in high-grade Red condition. The 1910-S is, surprisingly, far rarer in this condition than the key-date 1909-S VDB. PCGS records only six pieces in MS67 Red and none finer; NGC lists five coins in this grade and none finer (11/16). The supply is clearly insufficient to supply the needs of Registry Set collectors. This piece displays frosty, nearly flawless luster and sharp design elements. The surfaces have bright yellow-gold luster with overtones of honey and peach coloration. Eye appeal is outstanding. A 1910-S of unsurpassed quality.
