Standing Liberty Quarters
1924-S 25C MS66 Full Head PCGS Secure. Ex: Just Having Fun. The availability of the 1924-S quarter in Full Head plummets above MS65, where it becomes one of the lesser-known condition rarities of the series. Coins are rarely seen in MS66 Full Head and are nearly unknown finer at PCGS. This remarkable example comes from the Just Having Fun Collection, which is famous for showcasing representatives of each date in the finest or nearly finest condition known, almost all with Full Heads. This Premium Gem 1924-S displays full detail on the date, head, and eagle, with minor weakness on the shield rivets -- virtually unavoidable on this San Francisco issue. Satiny luster shows delicate russet-gold toning that deepens slightly toward the borders. Population: 10 in 66 Full Head, 1 finer (10/16).
