Housed in NGC's distinctive "Classic Liberty Era" holder, this impressive Morgan silver dollar has brilliant and untoned silver surfaces with exceptional field-to-device contrast between the deeply mirrored fields and the frosty devices. The 1891 is an issue that is rarely encountered with any amount of mirrored surface. NGC and PCGS have certified 18,275 examples of this issue, including just 215 Prooflike pieces and only 149 Deep Mirror Prooflike submissions. This one is the finest of those 149 DMPL dollars.
