Morgan Dollars
1893-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. Although the certified MS64 population for 1893-CC silver dollars exceeds 800 pieces at PCGS and NGC, the two grading services have only examined 22 finer examples (10/16), and those few pieces must meet the demand of hundreds or even thousands of advanced Morgan dollar collectors. Dusky greenish-steel toning is evident at the upper obverse of this otherwise fully brilliant and sharply struck Choice Mint State piece. The obverse and reverse surfaces are frosty and fully lustrous, and far cleaner than usual for this popular final-year Carson City dollar.
