Commemorative Silver
1925 Norse, Thin Planchet, MS66 PCGS. CAC. The Thin silver Norse medal variety is significantly scarcer than its Thick counterpart. The respective net mintages were 6,000 and 31,750 pieces. This lustrous Premium Gem has a caramel-gold and powder-blue obverse. The reverse displays deeper aquamarine, golden-brown, and lavender shades. The coruscating surfaces are unmarked aside from unobtrusive contact on the sail. Although not an official U.S. Mint coin, the Norse medal is traditionally collected as part of the 1892-1954 silver commemorative series. Population: 12 in 66, 0 finer. CAC: 7 in 66, 0 finer (11/16).
