Commemorative Silver
1936-S 50C Oregon MS68 PCGS. The 1936-S Oregon Trail half dollar is rarely seen in MS68, but the certified population in this grade is minutely higher than that of its Philadelphia counterpart. Neither PCGS nor NGC have designated an example MS69, placing the present offering well-within the Condition Census. This piece boasts a remarkable full strike on the rear of the wagon, which is usually soft, and showcases lovely iridescent toning over satiny luster. Tinges of olive, gold, and amber-red color accent the peripheries. Population: 7 in 68 (1 in 68+), 0 finer (11/16).
